    1. Create an EDS account: https://eds.ospi.k12.wa.us/Register.aspx?signin=098cc30e518d5be72ae6366a1a4b77b4 

    2. Wait 24 hours (Consider starting Step 4)

    3. Complete the online application for Pre-Residency Clearance (E-Certification System): https://www.k12.wa.us/certification/teacher-certificate/state-program-completer-applicants/pre-residency-clearance-state-applicant 

    4. Sign-up/ Make an appointment for your fingerprints

    Toppenish Area
    ESD 105: 509-454-5317- There is a link on the ESD 105 website to sign-up for fingerprints (https://www.esd105.org/Page/187 )

    Tri-Cities Area
    ESD 123: 509-544-5768- You must call to schedule an appointment (http://www.esd123.org/programs__services/fingerprinting )

    Other Locations

    (Any other option outside of the ESD may require you to physically mail your fingerprints which may take up to a month to process)

  • Placement Preference Sheet

    Candidates may request a practicum or co-teaching placement in three districts following the guidelines presented in the Field Experience Candidate Placement Agreement. Please list the three districts in order of preference. List your first, second, and third choices for school district placement. Failure to provide three district choices could delay or impede student practicum and student co-teaching placement:
