I have attached a copy of my U.S. birth certificate, Certificate of Naturalization, U.S. Passport, Certificate of Citizenship (N-560 or N-561), a copy of Form FS-240 (Consular Report of Birth Abroad), FS-545 (Certificate of birth issued by a foreign service post), or DS-1350 (Certification of Report of Birth) to prove my citizenship.

Sample documents you may upload:
I understand that I must correct the "Citizenship Status" question on my FAFSA (www.fafsa.gov) and provide one of the following:
- U.S. permanent resident. Documentation: Alien Registration Receipt Card (I-551 or I-551C) or passport stamped "Processed for I-551".
- Other eligibile noncitizen. Documentation: Arrival-Departure Record (I-94) from the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service showing any one of the following designations: (a) "Refugee", (b) "Asylum Granted", (c) "Indefinite Parole" and/or "Humanitarian Parole" or (d) "Cuban/Haitian Entrant"
- Citizen of the Marshall Islands Federated States of Micronesia or Palau. Documentation: Legal document (passport, birth certificate, etc.) which identifies you as a legal resident of the area.
